- ¨ APPALACHIAN COMMUNITY ACTION is looking for volunteers to help with building a playground at Whippoorwill Hills in Thomas Village. Volunteers are needed onThursday, Sept 8 and lunch will be provided. Please see Freda Starnes or call Kerri Whitt at 276-452-2441 to sign up or for more information.
- ¨ We will be assembling the gift bags for the Women’s Conference on Tuesday, 9/13 at 6:00 and decorating on Thursday, 9/15 also at 6:00 pm. Any help is greatly appreciated.
- ¨ ATTENTION: If you have not submitted your registration for the Women’s Conference please get that turned in so we may get an accurate count for the lunch.

- ¨ September 25–Annual Church Picnic and service at Natural Tunnel State Park from 4-8 pm

Please submit them no later than Thursday evening to be included in the Sunday bulletin. The bulletin is normally printed Friday morning.
